"Ontario Weeds", from the Communications Branch of the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Food, is used by most as a wildflower guide.

It supports the Weed Control Act (1974) which requires "Every person in possession of land shall destroy all noxious weeds thereon."

Newcomb's Wildflower Guide is the go-to book though.

Buckweed was left out... in violation of the weeds affirmative action policy.
