Ben Rhodes

Twitter is rife with photoshops of Ben Rhodes placed into Stalin posters. His NYT profile was friendly enough but widely criticized. Rhodes brags about fooling low information citizenry into accepting the Iran deal. The dispute boils down the timing of diplomatic advances, Ben said the election of the last head Irani opened new possibilities while records show the process started years earlier. Seems a small detail considering the deal never was sold to American public who never did accept it. But he brags anyway. Worse, to media is Ben Rhodes pronouncing media gullible neophytes too young to know what is going on, that when they want to learn something they ask him. So he has it all sewn up. The outrage caused Ben Rhodes to walk back his remarks.

In his comment, Rhodes probably meant they are no smarter and no more informed than the average 27 year old Pajama Boy.

I don't think it was the "low information citizenry" as it was the low information Lefty media.

Rouhani's election didn't open up any new possibilities other than a convenient new staging possibility for the fiction that the Iran Deal would help suppress the spread of nuclear weapons. As such, Rouhani was portrayed as a "moderate" by people who know better.

Amartel, Good to see you back here. We need critical thinkers like yourself.

You are all aware that Ben Rhodes brother, David Rhodes, is the president of CBS News, aren't you? David did not protect his reporter, Sheryll Atkisson, when she was hacked by govt. actors regarding Fast and Furious and Benghazi. This Rhodes makes Haldeman and Ehrlichman look like Boy Scouts.
