Megyn Kelly: Why won't anyone fight my battles for me. Oh and I want equal pay for equal work!

Megyn Kelly will be on the weekend morning shows with noted pinko pussy Charlie Rose complaining that Bill O'Reilly didn't do enough to defend her when Trump "attacked her."
Ms. Kelly know for her dignified pose as a serious news anchor can not understand why Donald Trump treats her with the same lack of respect that he treats male news anchors like Chris Wallace.

Ms. Kelly states: "I think it's very clear to him that he cannot control the editorial on my show,  or from me, in a debate or other setting." Of course it must be news to people like Bill O'Reilly or Anderson Cooper or Chris Matthews that Donald Trump can control the editorial content of there shows but delusional entitled news bunnies can never stand within shouting distance of reality. Trump appears on almost every show that would have him. Even on the dismal radio talk shows of goobers in a backwater like Wisconsin. So I don't understand where she gets off on the idea that she is special.

Well actually maybe I do understand. You see Megyn Kelly is a lot like Trump. She pretended to be a conservative to get a gig on FOX. Just as Trump is pretending to be a conservative to get the Republican Nomination. We know he is not a conservative. Or as Whoopie would put it a conservative conservative. He is a New York City Old Style Conservative Democrat. Pro America. Doesn't care about social issues. Willing to spend money to attack problems. Not  into tax cuts except for business. Sort of an Abe Beame who hates Mexicans.

Trump has a few strong stands that has won my support. He is totally anti political correctness. He wants to  end the free trade agreements that have destroyed America industry. He recognizes Muslims as the threat and menace that they are in reality and not as the religion of peace that these morons insist on pretending is the reality. He knows that the invasion from Mexico has to be stopped.

It is a valid strategy to try to go to a place where there is a lot less competition. Get famous. Then sell out and go to a bigger network. Pump and Dump, That is Megyn's plan. The David Brock move. She is well on her way. I expect her to anchor a network newscast. Maybe ABC. She can be the new Diane Sawyer.

I do think she has burned her bridges at FOX. With a large segment of her audience. Her numbers are good right now because of the controversy so she should make her move now.  Because once the election is over she is in for a big drop off. As is FOX News as a whole. A smart competitor would position themselves to take their audience. Mark Levin has his own network now. That might be the answer. He is someone who is anti-Trump to the max but is honest and intelligent about it. He could pick up a lot of the marbles.

I know one thing. He won't complain that Trump is a meanie and that everyone else should fight his battles for him. Oh and I don't think he owns a little black dress.

That would be Hannity.

Woooh Trooper. We got a fair share of cheeseheads here. Why take it out on them?

We have 100% quit watching Fox News since Megyn (what a pretentious way to spell...anyway) Kelly decided to play the offended smirking prancing prom queen and pulled out the long knives to attack Trump DURING a debate. Not her job.

The rest of Fox News with a few exceptions seem to all be playing let's get Trump, instead of being fair and balanced news reporters. If I want that crap I'll talk to April or Bags (just kidding...I like you guys and we do have some good back and forth) who are not pretending to be something that they are not.

Instead we watch Fox Business network and get both sides to the story. At least that's how I feel about it. Plus some more in depth looking at the economy and other more vital issues.

I couldn't care less about whose wife has better nude shots or the size of anyone's hands or other body parts. I want to hear the issues. But NOOOOOO....the Fox News people are high centered on denigrating Trump, taking his remarks out of context and are just NOT covering the news or reporting on the issues.

So ....eff 'em. We have other choices. Maybe they don't realize that?

They are too used to being the "other choice." So they are counting on that. But you have to earn the audience. Every day.

Some smart guy can come in and steal their business model right out from under them. Offer O'Reilly a big check. Steal Gutfeld. Get some of the new alt-con's like Milo or Vox Day or better yet Gavin McInnes. Be on the cutting edge with humor and effectiveness. Counter program Greta and Megyn and Hannity.

There is a real opportunity there.

Seriously Lem? Listen they are gluttons for punishment. That's why they live in Wisconsin in the first place.

(Michael Haz and AllenS excepted of course. Also EBL who might live there I am not sure)

She's also crying how CNN let her down.

Well, here's a reason to support Daddy Cruz. He would have doubled the number of Moslems in this country.

She's auditioning for "Basic Instinct III: Blood On The Casting Couch".

Youse guys are filthy misogynists.

I am deeply ashamed.

You should be.

Agree 100%. I stopped watching FOX too - I watch CNN for Political news. Why watch a liberal pretending to a conservative? Better to watch an honest liberal.

I see Kelly on the Today show in the near future.

Better yet. The View.

Saturday afternoon at the cabin. Fire crackling in the fireplace, bluegrass music on the radio. Temperature is in the middle thirties, and there have been bursts of heavy snow flakes all afternoon, followed by bursts of sunlight.

The ice has melted about 75 feet our from the shore. And we have swans! A pair of fat, white swans landed a few minutes ago and are busily bobbing for minnows near shore. We have not had swans in the quarter-century we've owned this place. A pair of Canadian gees is sharing the open water with the swans. A flock of chickadees is working the exposed tall grass and lawn for bugs and small grain.

The annual re-birth is beginning again. It is rejuvenating for animal and man.

Ah, Fox. Van Sustren, Cavuto, Dobbs, and Payne are the only ones worth watching in either Fox network. Fox prime time has given me a renewed appreciation for turning television off and reading, playing cards, ore other things.

Anyhow, it's a simply wonderful Saturday and the vileness of electoral politics is well able to carry on without my attention.

Her first question to Trump at the first FOX debate told me all I needed to know about her. She's a feminist who probably believes there should be women in Marine combat units, but call R. O'Donnell a name and off with your head. Her segments on the Michelle Fields "assault" case were a case study in how the media can create a biased meme. Trump has rattled her cage big time.
Gretchen Carlson is much more of an adult IMHO and would be a better fit in Kelly's time slot.

Lovely post Haz.

It is a beautiful Saturday here too. The temps are in the low 70's and the fruit trees are blooming. I think (hope) we will have a good crop of plums, pears, and apples this year. All the cheerful daffodils are blooming and brightening up the area.

I've been cleaning up an old cast iron sewing machine base that I bought about 40 years ago for $10. Took off the wooden top and have taken the drill with wire brushes to remove the old finish and the rust that has accumulated over the years. We have it on our back deck next to the dining room window with a couple of Adirondack chairs on each side to set in the shade when it is too ho. Handy to put our drinks on The cat is mad at me because he likes to sit on the table on a mat and look/glare into the house at us and is missing "his" table.

Now that the rust is gone and the finish is smooth again, I've been spray painting it a nice satin black color. Need several more coats. Since the wooden top is off, I'm also debating on putting a different finish on it. Maybe paint some stylized flowers or birds. Or...not.

Marinating a 2 inch New York steak with the bone in. It is really like a roast than a steak. When The Dumbplumber (my ever lovin' hubby) comes home from his latest pump job in a few more hours, we can BBQ on the deck. Hmmm. Ceasar salad. Potato-zucchini pancakes.

Forget about politics for a while. Time to decompress from the madness. Agreed. Dobbs, Cavuto, Payne and Van Sustren are watchable.

Sorry that I put up so many political posts but when I put up a non political one like my nostalgic baseball post most people ignore it.

Dust Bunny Queen said...

Trooper...not to worry.

I don't ignore your posts. I just know nothing about baseball, so have nothing to contribute.

For Christ's sake, Troop, I'm a Cub fan.

You expect me to be interested in nostalgia about some stinking Yankees?

What have they ever done?

Trooper York said...

Hey maybe I can do a post about the "called shot" by the Babe. That was against the Cubs. In fact I think that was the last time the Cubs were in the series.

Michael Haz said...

Oh. Your're the guy? I knew there was a Cub fan, but I didn't realize it was you.

Shouting Thomas said...

Pencil us in this year for a championship.

I don't even know why we're bothering to play the games.

Cubs are a juggernaut!

Shouting Thomas said...

The Babe's "called shot" was in the 1932 World Series.

Legend has it that he walked across the street from Wrigley to a bar for a hot dog and beer afterward.

Cubs lost to the Tigers in the 1945 World Series.

That picture of her gives the impression that she either is about to take a giant dump or a huge fart. I can't tell which.
