An endorsement for Trump if there ever was one.

It's weird... But in a way it maybe a plus that Trump is a scoundrel.

He does bring out the obliviously stupid in the establishment.
This guy automatically assumes that anyone opposed to his "effort to shape globalization in a fair way" is a "threat to peace and security." Never paused to consider the ground-level view that his efforts are not exactly shaping up to provide peace and security to anyone.

Back when I watched the tv news fairly regularly someone mentioned that no one from the establishment had ever made the case for immigration/amnesty. Everyone nodded thoughtfully and then moved right along to the next topic. No one tried to make the case for immigration/amnesty. (And by "make the case" I don't mean call people who oppose mass immigration and mass amnesty "racists," "xenophobes," and "fear mongers." That's not making a case, that's shutting down opposition.)
Now, retroactively, people are saying (a la Merkel) that we have an aging population and need more workers to support social security payments for retirees. No one mentions that the reason we need this is because social security has been looted for decades by the government, which is now actively importing foreigners to make up the difference. So strange that people would get the impression that it's all kabuki theater and/or an effort to bust the entire population.

Is he?

Or is he a lot smarter than many people want to admit?

If he loses to Hillary, or even Cruz for that matter, then I'd say it's pretty definitive that he's an idiot. Both should be easy to beat for a reasonably intelligent candidate in his position.

Chancellor Angela Merkel said it had always been a pleasure to work with Democrat Hillary Clinton.

Ahhh! The Lucy and Ethel of global politics. Rodham makes the refugees and Murtzle brings them in.
