Oh Henry!

Here's to the good ol' days when Mexico and El Norte saw more eye to eye and Tex Avery was animating Frito Lay characters.

I used to watch The Cisco Kid when I was young, and I once saw an episode in color years later. Garish color. Amazing.

Anyway, what was more impressive was the story of Leo Carrillo who played Pancho. What an amazing life he led, and what a family history - it is worth reading about.

"Bonanza" always billed itself as the first color Western on TV, but a lot of the old syndicated shows (Gene Autry, "Range Rider", "Wild Bill Hickok", "The Lone Ranger") did at least one season in color years earlier.
