I think we need to get away from this meme. I don't want the government to keep me safe. I'll take care of that. What I would like the government to do is, is stop using political correctness to aussage a constituency for the sake of scoring political narrative points and instead be honest about the true threats we face, name them as such, and develop plans and strategies to handle them, honestly, openly, with discourse, debate, and health dose of skepticism. Is that too much to ask anymore? I think it is and it has led to the government and narratives we have now. Political correctness has brought us to this point used by the Left as a tool to bring us to this point in history now; on the edge of vulnerability in a way i've never experienced before. They can't name our enemies and on the other hand, they disparage their own citizenry. It's bizarro world, literally.
I DO want the government to care about the safety of its citizens first and foremost, above all else. The government can sod off in other areas.
The current Obama-Jarret-Clinton corruption ring only cares about making sure James Comey doesn't make a case against Hillary. Trust me, Obama and Hillary are scared as sh*t about another radical Islamic attack. But only in the abstract. They don't care about Americans dying, they care about the optics.
