The ban also follows an attack by an 18-year-old refugee on a 54-year-old woman in Bornheim, where he had grabbed her by the private parts and tried to kiss her...
Bornheim currently has 300 refugees living in accommodation who have been told that the ban will be lifted when the message has been received that women need to be respected.
In the Munich attack, the three boys are alleged to have surrounded the 17-year-old girl in the pool before one of them groped her underneath her swimming costume in an offence deemed rape under local law.
When the girl's sister, 14, tried to make them stop, she too was groped by the trio of teenagers, who were all aged under 15.
The girls managed to flee and raise the alarm with the lifeguard at the swimming pool, who called police.
It comes after more than three hundred women reported being sexually assaulted by groups of mostly Arab or North African men in Cologne during New Year celebrations.
Hundreds of criminal complaints have been filed by police, with about 45 per cent involving allegations of sexual offences, and most of the suspects identified so far are foreign nationals.
The attack have been seized by right-wing groups as evidence that chancellor Angela Merkel's open door policy is a failure.

I have to admit that something like this would have gotten my fair-minded multicultural hackles up a few years ago, but now it's like "hell yea, it's about time."
If you are part of a particular group and large numbers of that group start committing atrocities, you should expect to be profiled and treated differently even if you are a decent person. It's not fair, but it is rational, and it is really up to the decent members of that group to convince others that the group is decent, and to separate themselves from the bad ones. Don't blame your problems on bigotry. Instead blame and ostracize the bad actors as you would if they were part of another group. Don't defend them, or make excuses.
Some groups do this, and others don't. A small example was the post yesterday about the open carry assholes. Nobody was defending the stupid Rambos, even though most of us probably love the Second Amendment. We ridiculed them and called them out. That's what Muslims living free should have been doing for years now.
Where did they get the notion they could do this? Is it something tought in schools mosques at home where?

There is lots of stuff in the Christian Bible that nobody would support, so just because it's in the Koran is no excuse. If you want to live precisely according to the Koran or the Bible, there are places you can do that, but you will not be free, and none of those places are in the west. In fact, I doubt they exist anywhere. Nobody, regardless of how devout, follows those books to the letter. Everyone picks and chooses what to ignore, and we congregate in groups that generally share the same editing. So it is a choice for any adult with operational feet. These books are not lists of excuses for being inhumane to your fellow man.
I don't think there is a single place in the Bible that actually tells anyone to rape women.

I'm sure no expert, but who here follows the Bible including the Old Testament and would defend everything in there if it was done today? We just don't, and pretending we do is what I describe above about defending what you don't really believe, just because of tribe identification. Does anyone here defend the Westboro Baptist Church just because they are following some part of the Bible when they foul a fallen soldier's funeral?
The point is that nobody follows these books to the letter, which is good. We would not want that world today. The problem with Islam is not just that it's book has terrible ideas which it does in spades. The book is not going away. The problem is that too many Muslims pick and choose the worst tenets to follow, and many others give them the tribal pass. Islam needs reform and liberalizing just as Christianity has done over and over.

Not now, but Christianity had all that once. See the Crusades and the Middle Ages. The same book, but different people and standards today. We changed, but the book is still there. Islamic people need to change, because the book will not.

Sharia:

• Testimony of a woman before a judge is worth half that of a man.
• Women are to receive just one half the inheritance of a male.

• Muslim men are permitted to marry up to four wives and to keep concubines in any number.

In effect, under sharia, women who bring a claim of rape without being able to produce the requisite four male Muslim witnesses are admitting to having had illicit sex. If she or the man is married, this amounts to an admission of adultery.

15. Zakat: the obligation for Muslims to pay zakat arises out of Koran Verse 9:60 and is one of the Five Pillars of Islam. Zakat may be given only to Muslims, never to non-Muslims. What amounts to a mandatory tax is required to be given to those engaged in jihad which is among the authorized recipients.
• According to sharia, there are eight categories of recipients for Zakat: The poor; Those short of money; Zakat workers (those whose job it is to collect the zakat); Those whose hearts are to be reconciled; Those purchasing their freedom; Those in debt; Those fighting for Allah (Jihad); Travelers needing money (‘Umdat al-Salik, h8.7-h8.18)
