Drudge: Obama plays the race card on Trump.

New York Times: President Obama said in a radio interview airing on Monday that Donald J. Trump, a leading contender for the Republican presidential nomination, is exploiting the resentment and anxieties of working-class men to boost his campaign. Mr. Obama also argued that some of the scorn directed at him personally stems from the fact that he is the first African-American to hold the White House.

Demographic changes and economic stresses, including “flatlining” wages and incomes, have meant that “particularly blue-collar men have had a lot of trouble in this new economy, where they are no longer getting the same bargain that they got when they were going to a factory and able to support their families on a single paycheck,” Mr. Obama said in the interview with National Public Radio.

“You combine those things, and it means that there is going to be potential anger, frustration, fear — some of it justified, but just misdirected,” the president added. “I think somebody like Mr. Trump is taking advantage of that. That’s what he’s exploiting during the course of his campaign.”

The blue collar white guys I know (including my son-in-law) are killing it.

If you want to make big money, become an electrician, plumber or HVAC maintenance guy. I know a bunch of them and they are really raking it in.

They are, I'll admit, fed up with being vilified for being white and Christian.

I know he doesn't watch enough cable TV to know what's happening in this country, but if he did he'd see that Black people are even more pissed off because he's the first African American President. I think a lot of people are just racist against lightworkers.

Of all the groups I know, I'd say it's small business owners who are the most racist against lightworkers right now, and it's gotten a lot worse over the last few years.

The President never mentions his 50% white genes and 100% white upbringing. He doesn't call himself mixed or biracial. Nor does he say much about his Christian faith. Why is that? Is he ashamed, is it embarrassing. Is he afraid people might like him less if he did - that they might discriminate against him? Does he fear the racism?

They should try being non white and not Christian.

Yes, they should. The rewards and quota benefits for that are outrageous.

You're such a sick fuck, Meade. That ass kissing lefty thing you do always makes me want to vomit.

You're a lowlife fuck.

In a certain way, Meade, I'm interested in how a moron like you became such a sick fuck.

But, not interested enough to actually want you to attempt to explain it.

We've got plenty of sick fucks like you in Woodstock, anyway. Dime a dozen.

They are not vilified when the toilet is clogged or the A/C goes out in the summer.

This is good advice for everyone of any race or ethnicity. Black plumber. Asian HVAC techs. Hispanic auto mechanics. Everyone profits when there is skilled technicians and labor in their communities.

They are, I'll admit, fed up with being vilified for being white and Christian.

Amen to that!

Heh, they're sometimes vilified by their white Christian customers when they get the bill for cleaning out that sewer line.

yeah, I mean Trump is just like Hitler. Whenever anyone appeals to Jews, blacks, Hispanics, the poor, the rich, the immigrants, the well-to-do, and of course WOMEN, well, that's OK.

but if anyone appeals to white men - that's racism.

This is where Insty would post the Right News guy's tweet, "the best thing about the Obama administration is all the racial healing."

Because it's so clever it must be seen fifteen times and I'm not exaggerating by the customary 12% for dramatic effect this time.

There was nothing to heal. We've always had fun. Always. And that was before la activista de la comunidad, and that's Spanish for acti view of the commune.

Why, just now, thirty minutes ago I answered the door in my underwear and I don't even care because whoever it is deserves it and I don't mind being perceived a stud in black microfiber nor mind having my snake-like slenderness emphasized and openly known. Eh, what the heck. Arrest me. And who would expect a well dressed black dude returning a covered ceramic casserole and a bronze serving spoon? C'mon, that's too trite for movies. It is not a usual sight to behold. Would you say? Spaced those things over a month ago. And couldn't care less now, although I'd miss the spoon eventually. And here they are, all three, bowl, spoon, black dude doing the thing of returning a thing. See? Instead of a calling to say come and get it. Instead he just shows up. What's to heal? Why would a president drag race into things? What IS that dude's hangup with race, anyway?

Oh, I know, it's useful politically. All the rest is bullshit and even his cow of Washington Housewives knows it. So very useful.

Oh snap! I just remembered something unrelated, and that's good because it gets me off Obama. Michelle's senior year thesis is what did it. She was a believer one time but can not possibly be now. No, Now it's all nonsense. I just now yesterday read a thesis submitted for a woman's doctorate on Egyptian hieroglyphics, an aspect of particular language usage, rare symbols used for nouns and for verbs, so arcane it's impossible with only one, two, or three known instances and no bearing whatsoever on literature or fuller understanding, and the thing that got me, and I mean totally got me, was the typing so primitive it appeared to be done on home portable with key strikes of different impacts and odd misalignments and no kerning, primitive, and content exceedingly dull and somewhat stupid. And I thinking the whole time, "She gets a doctorate for this?" It is online and I am amazed.

Imagine an Egyptologist saying, "It says dinky dinky doink" in this papyrus, and the same construction with the same things in front and behind it says "dinky dink derk" on this wall.

Then three more examples, blam, doctorate.

President's racist nonsense, nonsense reaction to it about healing, nonsense wife's senior thesis, craptasticly arcane unacceptably poorly presented doctoral thesis, same-o/same-o. And you know what? ASL has the perfect motion to sum up all this, more perfect than anything I know of in English. Goes like this: [ motion ]

It's one of those things, you had to be there to fully appreciate it.
