Christians must speak out against Donald Trump's Muslim remarks

Yeah, yeah, yeah, thanks Mr. Civics Lesson for telling us again all about what is unAmerican while recovering from government busting a move on socializing healthcare and medicine, a move years in the making, led by president vowed to fundamentally change America. We're all so open to being told who and what we are supposed to be.

Let's be friends. You're talking about Trump again and you know he's 100% deal making type. Let's consider this opening bid. So the final deal ends up closer to reasonable, nearer to acceptable and leave it at that. And we'll have this understanding to ourselves while keeping in mind that here is Russell Moore bossing around Christians presuming they're all sheep of a flock as they say without minds of their own and in need of reminder about who and what they are, and with someone else's assessment of competing hazards. Were they sheep of a flock without minds of their own and easily led then they can be just as easily convinced to take up arms and apply for concealed carry. The Christians don't need to follow anyone's political advice.

Why?

Problem is, Ted Cruz only wants to exclude "refugees" from Syria.

The Donald says everybody, including US citizens, until the people in charge can get a handle on vetting. That would have included the US citizen who murdered 14 people in SB.

Cruz' idea may be Constitutional, but does it address the very real problem?

The place to start would be the repeal of the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965.

Then, we can slowly start admitting immigrants who don't seem to pose a danger.

As of right now, we are committing suicide with our present policies of letting anyone in.

Obama administration wants terror on our shores. We deserve it.

I guess this "Christian" is going to have to get used to the fact that we don't all share his death wish.

I'm processing all of this.

The "see something, say something" is not foolproof.

We need to rethink our posture, in light of what we are learning.

The couple in San Bernardino exploited our openness and freedoms and people died horrifically.

When Islamists are killing us for having a Christmas party, I think we can ignore the guy saying it's the Christians' fault.

Obama's idea that we somehow not do things that could be used by ISIS to recruit more killers is also unworkable in my mind. And I'll tell you why.

I'll use the San Bernardino couple as an example. That selfie they took as they were entering legally into the U.S. is to my mind the equivalent of hitting a jackpot. I'm talking about personal experience. For me and my family that was one of the best days of our lives.

So, when you ask me to try and think like them, so we can presumably defend ourselves better, you might as well be asking me to understand yet undiscovered civilisation on another galaxy.

The "radicalised" mindset does not comport with anything we love and hold dear.

ricpic said...

But they weren't radicalized, Lem. At the heart, the very heart of Islam is the commandment to spread the religion by jihad. And jihad, when you get past all the deliberate lies about it, is simply war on the kaffir, the infidel, the non-Muslim. It's in their holy book.

When they hit us again, Trump's idea will sound a lot better.

My problem is with the people who favored and the original tweet presuming to tell Christians what they need to do.

The original tweeter said, "Theses Christians need to be told what to tell Trump to stop saying."

Jesus H. Christ.

H stands for Hecksticks. I cannot believe how much like mean-spirited spoiled High School girls these otherwise serious mature white men sound like sometimes. The whole line of them at once, mostly the original, then retweeter and re-retweeter.

"This whole group needs to told to tell that other guy shut up. He's ruining everything."

And he is.

There is a very good reason to become unhinged like this. Go on and sound like mean-spirited High School girls because now is the time to become unhinged. They know their time. Now is the time to flounce.

Numbers say Trump can win the primary and lose the general. So get to flouncing.

Every time Trump pulls this crap, steps in it with outrageous opposite and holds to it, the reaction puts emphasis on the distance between positions and highlights how useless, how Whig-like, Republicans have become because people ask then, why not? And end up by reexamining the whole thing even down to wording of Constitutional amendments and what was occurring at the time and how things changed since.

It was the "these sheep need to directed as flock" that got me. It's offensive.

Trumps idea is just an opening gambit. There have been limitations and quotas on immigration for most of American History. The Chinese exclusion Act and the quota's to stop immigration from Italy in the 1930's for example.

You start with your most outrageous demand. Than you negotiate to what you really want. A limitation on immigration from Muslim countries with very tight vetting procedures. With profiling and surveillance of those areas where terrorist incubate and get recruits. I think a substantial majority of Americans would sign off on that.

The difference is that Obama and the Democrats and liberals and hysterical law professors would let in an immigrant even if he was a terrorist. Obama supports Muslims over Americans.
He wants to bring them to America. It is part of his goal to destabilize our society. Along with his attacks on the police, freeing criminals and gun confiscation he is determined to destroy the bitter clingers who hold on to their religion and their guns. He told you this straight out. Why don't you listen to him?

Yep. Thanks Trooper... I'll repost what I put in an older thread just in case no one reads yesterday's posts.

"This is the art of the deal. Your opening gambit is always one that you have no real hope of achieving. Trump knows it is impossible to prevent Citizens...legal citizens from leaving or re-entering the U.S.

The opening gambit is to get their (your opponent and your supporters) attention. Once you have their attention, then you can talk, negotiate and come up with less than half of what you opened with. This then gets you what you wanted in the first place, because you KNEW that your opening gambit was impossible, ridiculous and would never be accepted.

Your opponent thinks he has won because you didn't get what you asked for...but you have won because you got what you want. Everyone is happy.

Everyone should read The Art of War by Sun Tzu. This is exactly what Donald Trump is doing and what the art of the deal is all about. This why he is a successful business man.

Masterful!"

Added:

Seriously. Anyone who has been in sales or in business knows this stuff.

This lack of being able to make a deal of any kind is why Obama is such a screw up and we are in such terrible shape in our political foreign policy. The Arabs and the Chinese are the consummate deal makers. THEY know how to play the game and make the deals. Obama and the Democrats are playing checkers while everyone else is playing 3D chess.

It doesn't even have to be us, but you are absolutely right.

Very astute, sir, very perspicacious.

It is the great lesson of the 20th century.

This crowd has no problem telling people what they intend to do. Not just Dolf and Hess, but Khruschchev, Mao, Lenin, and, yes, even the Nips. Did you know there was a plan called the Tanaka Memorial that outlined world conquest by Japan?
