Thou shall not fiddle with the thermostat

*opens window so cold air rushes in*

I dropped two things disastrously in a week. In the Belgian sheepdog world two is a definite pattern.

A while ago I prepared a very nice plate for myself. It took some effort and time and consideration, it took thought, it took hunger. After all the preparing it needed just 10 seconds or so in the microwave, zap, I removed the plate and immediately dropped it. It broke to thousand pieces and a sloppy mess right at my bare feet. I must clear it from where I stood.

Before all that I made tonkatsu sauce that relies on catsup but didn't have any of that around. I blended and boiled sweetened and soured a tin of tomatoes to substitute, used it for catsup to make tonkatsu and put the remaining homemade catsup in a small jar. Last night I retrieved the jar to use it and the jar slipped out of my hand immediately, splat, right at my bare feet, glass and thick pasty catsup all over. I must clear it from where I stood. *ding* Dude, you got a pattern happening here. And a very clean floor.

Now this is worth mounting a protest about. The temp should be 69. I just like the way the number looks on my thermostat. It's a free yin/yang that comes with every unit.
