It's a pet peeve of my older relatives when some keep looking at their smart phones during card play. It's one thing when it's kids, it's another for people in their fifties! It's an addiction I tells ya.
My sister hosted a lady from Europe and her grandson. His first trip here. He spent the entire time laying on the couch texting. The lady told me that a girl classmate of his was on the plane from Europe. The boy and girl texted each other almost the entire flight but never got up to meet face to face.
