"Do not use when wet"

In my beloved Highland Park I used to swing on the swings for hours. Then for a change of pace I'd climb all over the monkey bars. That's all. It was great. "Where'd you go?" "Out." What'd you do?" "Nothing." Those were the days.

Protect our children from the evils of gravity.
Gravity = death.
Gravity is a diabolical creation of the capitalist patriarchy.

Crunch wrap, how descriptive. I'll have your wrap of crunch, please.

Speaking of tacos, I had three today from Quijote's, and this time of month, this time of year is most busiest of all for Deena I bought a lunch for her too. So, free for her.

I was expecting the package to hold three tacos as ordered and visualized in my mind.

But no, it is the full on deal with unexpected surprises, guacamole, an entire roasted chile with actual heat, sauce to pour on the tacos and corn tortillas that are not crispy. They're floppy.

Beef comes either barbacoa or bistec. Which is better? bbq or beef steak, bbq is better. The package had both + chicken. barbacoa is best of all three.

Please make a note of it.

+rice that I really like +beans that I really like +sour cream, a beautiful package, the full on deal.

This is why Deena likes me so well. Plus the new guy, Dexter, when he's there. Nobody else does this.

I have to keep asking the guy's name because it doesn't fit a black guy. There's a television show by that name.

Anyway, the "don't play when wet" I don't get that. How is an upright 4x4 wooden beam in the middle of a playground in anyway safe? Kids do not watch where they're going. Have you noticed that? It's the most remarkable thing to see their little bodies headed one direction with their attention held elsewhere.

Plus, now the maintenance guy has to mow around it, trim the bottom of the pole. People don' think how their signage affects others. All they think is having their message, and this to children unlikely if able to read it.

Eeeeerg. "Beware, erosion in progress" at Dinosaur Ridge. Now kids, don't mess up the pretty pattern of erosion. Leave that to the construction trucks.

This stupid little house in Pennsylvania had the BEST swing in the whole world and it was MINE all MINE. Not a regular swing. It was three plumbing pipes formed into an upside down U sunk into the ground and cemented with heavy-duty chain holding a wooden seat. and it was TALL. The tallest ever. Taller than the swing at school. I would swing my heart out at the top of the hill behind the house staring at jet contrails overhead and dream as I swung so hard it'd take my breath away and I was determined to wrap that son of bitch around the top cross pole, but never could manage, a desire I took with me to the next house and the next and the next, the seat always fell back with a clunk, but I tried and tried and tried. The ridiculous tiny house was old then, dad bought it, painted it, sold it, we moved a dozen times since and look at it now. I notice a for sale sign. I should buy it. But the swing is gone. And so is the dog run. My older brother found it and gave me the link saying, that hill was massive as boys we rode down it riding a coal shovel as sled. It actually steered. Somewhat. The whole back of the house is a porch, so three porches, that we could climb out our bedroom window onto its roof. Or visiting grandmother was quite cross with us climbing out there. I recall her down thre in the back yard in her stockings and black shoes looking upward scolding us off our fun back into the house.

Helluva hill, Chip A. With the swing still there in the mind, along with the scolding Grandmother. A mental pop-up. Almost close enough to picture, a blink away.
