CNBC yields to Trump debate demands

CNBC will allow the Republican presidential candidates 30-second opening and closing statements at a debate this month, bowing to the demands of Donald J. Trump and other leading candidates that they be allowed to introduce themselves.
The Oct. 28 debate at the Coors Events Center in Boulder, Colo., will last two hours, including commercials, another accommodation to Mr. Trump, who was unhappy with the length of the three-hour Republican debate last month in California.
...The presence of Mr. Trump in the race led to record-shattering viewership of first two Republican forums. Were the provocative real estate magnate not to appear at future debates, the audience could sharply drop off.

How about a 'Top Ten Reasons' the debate needs to be kept to two hours?

I'm going to show up with a YUGE sign that reads:

"LEFTWING PROGRESSIVES AGAINST FREE SPEECH." &
"FOR THE COMMON GOOD - LEFTWING PROGRESSIVES WILL SHOUT YOU DOWN AND SHUT YOU UP!"

The gop always acquiesce to the subtle and not so subtle pre-determined biases of the hack pro-democrat moderation set-up in these debates.

CNN was a soft-ball infomercial for the delicate dems. The GOP debates are always a gotcha-game.

Thank you, Trump. Backbones are welcome.

He knew he was in a good position to negotiate and get results. Not a bad quality for a president.

It is the art of the deal.

Something Bush or Rubio or any of the other Rhinos have no idea how to do.

Okay, I'll start:

Number ten: FCC rules limit the work time of the squirrel on Trump's head to two hours.

We watched CNN today of Putin bombing FreeSyria rebels, and my girl said: "We need Trump. We need a crazy scary bastard in charge." She's a 2-time Obama voter who can't stand the little liar now, especially after Obamacare tripled her premiums. She has been for Trump since he first announced. She's a Trumpette!

You may not like The Donald, but he does let people have their say.

For me it's not a matter of like or love. At times, Trump impresses me, at times, he makes me shiver.

I will take Trump over any corruptocrat-socialist.

The problem with Trump is that he has no principles as far as I can tell. I wouldn't expect him to have any more respect for The Constitution than Obama does, which is zero.

If he gets to debate a Democrat, it will be his bold, specific and unrealistic proposals against the Dem's nonspecific unicorn farts. Both will be easy for the opponent to make look like bullshit, but we will still be forced to buy one or the other, and live with the inevitable disappointment when it doesn't happen. Both option will be looking to bigger government.

I wish Cruz wasn't so ineluctably ugly. That doesn't matter to me, but 19th amendment. C'mon ladies admit it. He is physically such a turn off, that if he was a fireman saving you, you would say no thanks, I can wait for the next one.
