Look In The Mirror!

I'm sure that both Rolling Stone and CNN would love to be the ones who damage the Donald. But this was predictable:*

Trump insults Fiorina in Rolling Stone: 'Look at that face!'

The upcoming debate will be an important test for Trump: how will he handle Carly Fiorina?

*Past prediction: "I think Trump will blow it when he calls the wrong shot which he's bound to do because he relies so much on instinct. For example, he has already irreversibly alienated a quarter of the voting population (democratic women); he could easily blow off another quarter by attacking Fiorina too quickly." link

I don't know. I think he made a bigger blunder saying he would let in the Muslim terrorist refugees. If he stays on message about immigration he can survive the politically correct vapors when he says something off the hook about his opponents.

Trump cannot help it. He's the beauty pageant/Pro-wrestling candidate. It's too bad. Every time I start to think he might not be so bad, he sticks his foot in his mouth.

"look at that face." = vapid e-troll behavior. Self-inflicted wound. You are correct, Troop - his self-indulgence only alienates voters. Not a smart move.

What all the deep thinkers don't get is that it is Trump's bluntness that the peasants (everyone who isn't connected) love.

I like Fiorina, and I'd love to see her be the nominee, but it's very disappointing to hear her play the victim when someone insults her. That's not a strong play, and it suggests that women are not up to the challenges of politics. All the people clutching their pearls over Trump's insults to women are accepting that women are not up to competing with men. What she should say is "We have more important things to be discussing than my looks."

If Trump starts to fade, this is how it happens.

He's gone after Carson, too; I'm guessing he wants the outsider field to himself.

People love him when he goes after the Whigs, the media, the La Raza crowd, and the PC crowd because they've been the bullies for so long - the media for 50 years.

If he goes after good people on the Right side, it won't take much to sink him.

Florina didn't "play the victim" on this. I saw a clip of her on Megyn Kelly's show and her response was right on: well he must be worried that she's doing well. She didn't project any victimhood whatsoever. Where did that idea come from? The only one projecting Victim here is Trump working it in that people make fun of his hair. Carly has been out on the trail attacking Clinton for months. She's a fighter, not a blowhard nor a victim.
