"Obama: Netanyahu only foreign leader ‘I can recall’ forcibly interfering in US policy"

Prime Minister Netanyahu has injected himself forcefully into this debate on American foreign policy in Washington. Can you recall a time when a foreign head of government has done that. Is it appropriate for a foreign head of government to inject himself into an American debate,” Zakaria asked.
Obama responded, “I do not recall a similar example.”
He added: “Obviously the relationship between the US and Israel is deep. It is profound. It is reflected in my policies. But as I said in the speech yesterday on the substance, the prime minister is wrong on this.
“I can show that basic assumptions he has made are incorrect. If in fact my argument is right, that this is the best way for Iran not to get a nuclear weapon, that is not just good for the United States, that is very good for Israel.”
Does that mean that if the US where faced with a substantial threat, like Israel faces with Iran, Obama would not do all he could to neutralize that threat? No wander ISIS is still alive.

Oh, Christ, the commies used to do it all the time.

They'd try to tell the American people they only wanted piece and to be sure to vote straight Democrat.

I also seem to recall Yuri Andropov's KGB disinfo op during the Vietnam War.

Hopefully, Barry isn't really this ignorant and delusional, but you never know.

Obama is digging furiously - so maybe the deal is in danger and won't get passed in the Senate. Til now, I figured the fix was in and it would pass easily.

Chucky Schumer listened to his conscience for the first time in his long nefarious career, so maybe there is some hope it won't get passed in the Senate. On the other hand the RINOs are so hellbent to support Barry in every horror he foists on us that it probably will.

Churchill spoke directly to the American Congress in 1942. At the time of Netanyahu's speech to the American Congress, people were reminded of that. Britain faced an existential threat. I did not understand Obama's petulance at the time, except insofar as it threatened his executive autocracy. Now, Obama is so determined that no dispute shall erupt into conflict on his watch, that he will negotiate away the future of Nation States.

And edutcher, you are making the mistake of comparing Netanyahu's lobbying with the interference of nefarious forces. Isn't that exactly what Obama wants?

I think Chuckie saw how many people in Gotham are worked up about this and realized he'd still like to be a Senator after the Obamanation has passed into history.

Then the Choom Gang started going after him and now it's personal.

At the request of the President with whom he was conferring on war strategy.

No, because the commies were trying to subvert elections.

Net spoke his mind about what would happen to Israel and asked people to consider that in their thinking. Lots of state leaders of other countries have made their thoughts on various American policies known to get people to take a wider view.

When you actually attempt to directly change the course of events, as Barry's apparachiks did, that's something else.

Don't we all remember the lengths Poutus went to help Netanyahu lose the last election ... like sending a crack campaign team over to help Bibi's opposition?

Like -- earlier THIS YEAR?

Jeeze. Isn't short term memory loss a sign of early dementia?

Folks, the weasel Schumer did a head count and saw he could vote against it w/o endangering the veto. His voting against it means for certain Obama has the votes.

You don't diss the Chuck the way the Choom Gang is doing. A respectful, "We regret Sen Schumer's decision...", is what you put out and everybody's point is made.

This has gotten out of control; if there ever was a deal, it's shot to Hell now.

I'll just post this and this, cause Obama is very much a hypocrite.

I think in ways both subtle and overt England tried to involve us in both WWI and WWII. I've no problem with that. Look at the way Germany tried to influence Mexico's foreign policy...,,Israel is our close ally. Take notes Jordan, Yemen, Turkey, Poland, Lithuania. This is the way we treat our closest allies. Bargain accordingly.

By this reasoning, Reagan was disastrous for America by negotiating mutual arms reductions with the USSR instead of launching further hostilities.

No wander ISIS is still alive.

Wander? Where is ISIS wandering to?

ISIS is the same caliphate enthusiasm that has always existed in Islam. To suggest that Americans will end it is a fantasy absurd only a Republican would believe it.
