Yeah, those systems rolled through SoCal late last week and dumped some rain on Friday. I should have warned you all.

Sorry.

My garden project is destroyed.

All plants killed. All 456 of them. See, I closed down the project on the dining room table. I wanted my dining room back. Took down all the lights. Cleaned the electric blanket. Polished the table. Vacuumed the floor even though it's not the end of the month.

Moved everything outside to have them near as I transplant them one-by-one in all available pots and now all killed.

I just now ordered new of those amazing blue morning glory seeds. This will be the fourth planting. Along with cardinal vines, similar to that to attract hummingbirds. Again, the fourth planting of those. They germinate very well and get going very well but they have this tendency to die at the slightest little thing like aphid infestation, forgetting to water them, white flies, high winds, long cold nights, flooding and snow storms. Who knew? Live and learn innit.

I've bought the same seeds over and over again the sellers are wondering what the heck I'm doing with them.

Chip - ah boo.
My neighbor told me once...
Planting flowers outside must wait until after mother's day here in Coloradie.

Her words ring in my ears every spring. In case I'm tempted to buy a few early temptations at the local garden shop.

Perhaps the biggest problem with atheism is there are no weather gods to appease.

It's total BS. But the forecasters warned us well in advance. Snow. and it's here. It's been raining for days and temps finally dropped enough for the white stuff. What a depressing site. Oh well. It does act as fire retardant, which is always welcome.

Luckily the forecast calls for a swift warmup this week. 50s-60s and 70s. The snow will learn fast who is boss.
