"What is the strongest opinion you hold?"

Reddit top 3 voted comments...
  • If you don't know something about something, then don't throw fucking strong opinions about that something.   Edit: Urm, so yeah this is definitely my most upvoted comment. I'll use my moment of fame to say "don't be an asshole." Have a good day people :)
  • That my problems are still relevant even though you tell me someone else somewhere in the world has it worse than I do.
  • I'm a fluent welsh speaker, and when people come to my country and go to lessons or whatever to learn a bit of our language, some stupid fucks laugh at them for their pronunciation and shit, which puts a lot of people off from learning any more of it. It's so dumb because they constantly talk about how our language is dying..  Edit: for anyone who would like to be able to swear a bit in Welsh: http://www.youswear.com/index.asp?language=Welsh http://www.rhegiadur.com/

An honest trustworthy person is a very rare and precious gift.

A sexy woman is a mind blowing thing.

Wanting one who is also honest and trustworthy is just greedy.

That's it? I read through some of the comments on Reddit. They were made by self-absorbed twits who have not yet gotten close to examining their lives with any kind of serious intent.

The strongest opinion you hold is about speaking two languages? Or whatever thing you just thought up?

Cheeses. I'll leave out my strongest opinion; and here's my second strongest: Honesty is the most important virtue a person can have. Honesty in all that is said, and in all that is unsaid. It is the foundation upon which human interaction is built.

And the corollary is this: Everyone lies. Large lies or small lies, everyone lies

Lies, lies, everywhere lies blocking out the scenery blowing my mind. Do this, don't do that! Can't you read the lie-highs?

Signs are like lies. Let me think, what was I looking for? Oh, "feminism." When the word came up, and it does a lot online, I automatically did an "F" where the girl things go and that looks very gay when you do it so I checked. Handspeak offered for feminism "girl power," as if, and that's a sign that is a lie. See? I do "F" for "fem" where everybody does "girl," the same place at the cheek where "aunt," "niece" appear and leave it to you to figure out what I mean and she does "girl power." Which would you rather have, the truth or lie?

There was another one too but, poop, I can't remember right now but I thought of two signs for English word and neither one captured the essence although both were legal. One has to do with "Baby" as an endearment, the sign is "boyfriend/girlfriend/lovers" or whatever, two thumbs like having a thumb wrestling contest, and the other one is infant that you hold in your arms. It comes up a lot in lyrics, this lie word, Baby, it's neither lover nor infant, yet there it is, one or the other, that's your choice. People pick "lovers."

I learned early on that I was too lazy to make a lot of money so I focused on doing a good job but mainly being someone who customers could trust.

That worked all too well. Now that I'm old, still lazy, plus being tired, they're still calling.

Strongest opinion? Get to know yourself. Find out what you're capable of doing, willing to do, and be prepared to live with it.

I'm not implying that my love life has any problem with honesty - just the opposite, but business relationships have been a bit disappointing. I have been let down by people a lot. It's amazing to me what people will throw away for a little short term self-interest. It seems that no amount of self sacrifice or paying it forward can prevent people from failing to appreciate what they have when they have your trust. They take it for granted, not realizing how rare and special it is.
