This Is How Balls Were Busted!

Watch the intro, then skip ahead to 28m 50s for my favorite part.

Dean Martin's skin is darker than Redd Foxx's!

Capote must have been desperate for attention to participate in something so far out of his orbit.

@chickenman/

"...Martin's skin is darker..."

Martin is the only guy to have spent more time on the links than Obama.

That is excellent.

Little is so good that a lot of the imitations I see are imitations of LIttle's imitations and not drawn directly from the subject. You can tell by supposed film dialogue that is perfect and so repeated endlessly, but contrived, and can be traced back to Little. "Play it again, Sam" and such that Little just pulled out of his butt. The Carson imitation is a good example of this. After this imitation other imitators of Carson appeared and they all used these things by Little, and not any fresh perception of Carson.

This did not happen with my first FRB supervisor Kyle. My imitation of him was poor but convincing nonetheless. Others improved on it instantly. They noticed tics in Kyle's behavior I didn't think of and whenever anyone thought up a new tic to include with their slobbering speech it would crack us all up and we'd all instantly incorporate into our own impressions. Man, that was fun. We all became experts on Kyles mannerisms. We absolutely destroyed his authority the final year of his employment became a matter of us all propping him up and carrying him across. We were all very mean young men but we were also kind and considerate at heart. Weird, huh?
