'I don't like it, I love it'

Dedicated $10-an-hour factory worker, who walks 21 miles to work EVERY DAY because he can't afford a car, breaks down as he's given a brand new Ford by well-wishers moved by his story.

Here is a similar story anecdotal or whatever...the idea is the same.

I just cleared my 90 foot driveway...but I guess that's not in the same league.

What, they don't have bicycles?

I do more than 21 miles a day on a bike.

My 1 1/2 year old car has 400 miles on it, all dog trips to the vet.

rhhardin...I considered a bicycle when I moved back to the city 30+ years aog, and everyso often since then...however our weather makes that a seasonal means of sane transport, plus the aggressive drivers here make it a down right hazard (stop signs mean momentarily lift you foot a bit on the accelerator, then floor it). Even my biker frfiends have nearly given up their modes after multiple serious accidents causued by idiots in 4 wheel weapons weighing 4000 lbs or more. Now I am 72, and because I have a truck fitted for handling 2-3 large dogs I haven't upgraded since 2003...none of the new models are are capable of what my old one does...and in all those years I have but 48K miles on it...have to travel a long distance I taxi to the airport and fly. I'd prefer a bike, motorized or pedaled, but I no longer have a death wish.

BTW "rh"...you dog pup has grown in to a gorgeous addult Dobe...I'm, jealous, and from a German Shepperd guy that's a high compliment.
