"Office puts chips under staff's skin"

"Want to gain entry to your office, get on a bus, or perhaps buy a sandwich? We're all getting used to swiping a card to do all these things. But at Epicenter, a new hi-tech office block in Sweden, they are trying a different approach - a chip under the skin."
"We already interact with technology all the time," he told me. "Today it's a bit messy - we need pin codes and passwords. Wouldn't it be easy to just touch with your hand? That's really intuitive."
Relax... this isn't ISIS

I'm just here so I wont get chipped...

Our dog is chipped.

You'd think that'd mean she's made out of porcelain or ceramic or something but she's not.

Fifty years from now, possibly twenty, NOT being chipped will be looked upon as being hopelessly outdated and down-market. Less than a hundred years from now, probably much less, all will be chipped at birth. Horrible? Only from the standpoint of those of us who were inculcated with the values of liberal (in the old sense) civilization. For those born into post-civilizational chip-world it will be...well, just the way things are.

Do they still allow Swedish men to stand up to pee?

Great comment, ST. Yes, only the super domesticated would accept this.
