Marriage Equality Means More than Meets the Eye

"The unnamed 18-year-old revealed in an interview with New York Magazine her romantic relationship of almost two years with her biological father after being estranged from him for 12 years."
In the interview, the girl also said the two also plan on having children.

"Everyone on my mom’s side of the family sees us as father and daughter," she told the magazine. "Those who know that he’s my dad, and that we are engaged, include my father’s parents (they can see we are happy together and they can’t wait for us to have babies — they treat us just like any other couple), the woman we live with, and my best friend."

After the wedding, the woman says they plan to move to New Jersey where adult incest is legal.
What do you say to something like this?

The father ought to think twice about this.

If they move to New Jersey and get divorced, he might end up paying her alimony and child support, both.

The ew factor has been reached.

Last time the ew factor was reached was when Woody Allen ran off with his own adopted daughter.

This tops.

This is an "Onion" article, right? Please tell me I'm right.

PS: Even wolves know better than this.

What's the big deal? We all knew this was going to happen.

Next up is multiple marriages. If it is a Muslim doing it they will be too scared to say anything.

Toldja so.

This is before the Supreme Court has declared a "right" to same-sex "marriage."

"Oh, that's an absurd hypothetical," the same-sex "marriage" folks said, what -- maybe 24 or 36 months ago?

And...here we are!

Toldja so.

A silver lining; if more of this sort of thing gets reported in the next month or two, there's just a chance it'll scare Justice Kennedy back from the brink.

I actually have a small hope that he doesn't really want to go where his own mushy legal "reasoning" has pointed us. There are plenty of cases where the Court majestically harumphs, oh how in the world did you ever think this case -- and this -- and this -- pointed to this? You are simply misreading us!

That is still possible. Let us pray.

Mackenzie Phillips, trail blazer.

Alternative non-silver lining: The media will make this sound seemingly normal, and thus, for some, it will become such.

Let us pray that it doesn't.

This is one way to work through an Electra complex and get rid of daddy issues. These marriages never worked out in Greek tragedies, but the non-incestuous ones were no bargain either.......If they have kids, the one with two hands will probably be spoiled rotten by his grandfather.

This should up Christie Creme's negatives.

Dare I say it?

So wrong on so many levels.

What do you say to something like this?

New Jersey and you, perfect together?

If Kennedy was smart he would narrowly support states determining what marriage is.
