Sounds like something out of "True Detective."

I watched one episode of that series with McConaughey.

Is it any good?

I thought it quite good, Lem.

How did you quit after just one?

I can adjust to schedules other than baseball and more recently football.

If HBO gets around to making a deal with Netflix I'll catch them then.

I meant to sat I can't.

My sister has HBO but apparently we have to pay more if we want to see something on demand, even though my sister is paying for the service already.

Florida.

We have something called Xfinity

My truth detector meter is pointing, no, let's say bending, toward family.

Don't know why, except it is often a good bet in unsolved murders.

There is a video of the dad asking people to help.

In my small hometown a girl went missing. Her Dad was at the forefront of the search for her, never giving up for a year or more, before a farmer found her body in his cow pasture.

Not long after they found her body, they arrested her father for her murder.

Not at all saying that it was a family member who killed this girl, and not saying that being real public about searching and needing answers is an indication of guilt... just that it's not an indication of innocence either.

Lem,

You've probably got on demand. Is there a button on the remote? Anything on your channel line up should be available for free.

That cable you've got running out the window and to the neighbor's box could be the problem.

Seems like the science of arson has taken some recent hits in regard to its credibility, so I have some concern now when I read there was evidence of an accelerant used.

Now I read it to mean they have no idea.

The story reminded me of Tween Peaks, Who killed Laura Palmer?

Pogo, Great point. I have worked probably 1k arsons. Cause and origin experts are not scientists. Their work is a craft. Some are real good, some are ham n' eggers. But, it's not like fingerprints, DNA, etc. And, the real good ones recognize the fallibility of their craft. The ham n' eggers are always positive of their conclusions.

True Detective was a good series. I think Billy Bob is in the next new one coming out?
