This year's Asian summit seems more purple and pajama-like than previous years.

Although the stripes make it look like a prison for fashion designers.

They're probably not wearing shoes either.

I've been to churches where people hold hands and pray... I'm sorry but if someone asked me to cross my arms and hold hands and... whatever... I'm really afraid I'd say something rude.

And I'm never rude.

Not in RL anyhow.

What is the Eastern philosophical symbolism of crossing arms?

Lookin' suave in mauve.

We're about to be subjected to a couple of day's worth of cartoons of Gruber being run over by a bus.

The White House denied him tonight. Biblically speaking, the rooster can beginning to crow.

The problem with Gruber is that he's the only one (so far) who has been outed. His attitude of elitist, condescending sneering at the "stupidity" of the American people permeates those who authored the ACA. All of the bill's authors need to be identified and publicly questioned about why they structured the bill the way they did.

(1) I'm just going to go ahead and assume that crossing arms is just a way to bring everyone closer to one another. Same thing with shaking hands. Even more so in the age of the photo op. A theater instructor once professed that a theatrical convention is anything on the stage that consistently, hence predictably, differs from real life. That's quite a definition he had going there.

(2) I once heard it said that waving hello was a gesture that originated in proving you weren't holding a weapon. Sounds plausible enough.

(3) What is our standard? Problem is, stuff like that is easy to make up; like "fuck" is an acronym of "for using carnal knowledge." Out to dinner once, some old guy told me that "tips" stands for "to insure prompt service." He was an imbecile.

(4) That evolutionary psychology guy talked about how nearly all religions require resource-expending, submissive displays of conformity, like kneeling, or bowing, or prostrating.

He said the point isn't whether you believe in it or not. The point is that you do it in public and you can't fake it.

(5) International politicians posing for the camera might require the carving out of an exception to that general rule.

Gruber strikes again.

So basically it's the same thing,” he said. “We just tax the insurance companies, they pass on higher prices that offsets the tax break we get, it ends up being the same thing. It's a very clever, you know, basic exploitation of the lack of economic understanding of the American voter.”

hiccup

The left love to exploit themselves. With plans to ruin America under arm, their own bad faith/blind faith supporters are so stupid, they themselves will applaud their own demise.
They will choke on their own talking points, but with their arm stiffed out in a Hitler youth salute. to the bitter end!

For $3.50 I could find a nicer shirt at Goodwill and I wouldn't have to hold on to somebody's fingers.

Something about men in silk - it's just so sexy.

This is really looking a lot like formal night at the nursing home, what with the shiny matching pajama outfits so they don't wander off and get run over. That or Dumbshit Day Camp. What's next, trust building exercises? (Scenes I'd like to see.) Spoken word poetry?

Oh look, it's a collectivist party.

That's how Girl Scouts hold hands in a circle when they sing their theme song at closings. 'Make new friends but keep the old, one is silver and the other is gold...'
