"Nathan Cirillo's dogs patiently wait for his return"

"The large dogs were seen at Cirillo's family home in Hamilton, Ont. on Thursday, poking their heads under the gate of the wooden fence, resting their heads in their paws and waiting for the soldier to come back."
The dogs calmly watched as strangers approached the fence around Cirillo's red brick home, where a makeshift memorial of flags, flowers and cards continues to grow.
Cirillo was killed in a shooting at the National War Memorial in Ottawa, where he was serving as an honorary guard.

I curse the Islamic scum who killed this innocent man for no reason other than psychotic hatred.

The Dude said...

Dogs are more loyal than muzzie scum. That's not news.

That's why muzzies hate dogs.

And why Obama eats them.

That was one of the more touching posts I have seen on this topic. Thank you.

What senseless tragedy. Well done, Lem.

It is heartbreaking to see a life wasted like this all for an ideology that worships death and destruction with no clear purpose, reason, or path. It's chaos for the sake of chaos to appease a moon god. May God bless and keep this man's soul, his family, and his dogs.

Islam needs to be eradicated. Sorry, there is just no way around this anymore. Unfortunately for Canada I believe they aren't even allowed to talk about Islam in any way that is politically incorrect for running afoul of human rights violations. Ask Mark Steyn about it. He's already gone through that crucible.

I want to hear an apology from the Islamic world. If they, and their leftwing water carriers, are so insistent that radical Islam isn't really Islam - then prove it by issuing an apology.

The Dude said...

True islam is violence and death. The ones who don't kill support those who do.

Time to kill them all. Or allow them to go bowling in NYC.

Unknown said...

without an apology, that means, to me, that the Islamic world condones the violence.

The Dude said...

Of course they do - they are winning. Barbarians have to be killed almost to the last man to be defeated. Do you think Hussein is the man for that job?

I am sure various Christian charities are lending aid, providing comfort and prayers to the family during this time of extreme grief and mourning.

Any Islamic charities out there doing the same?

Since Islamoweenies hate dogs, they cannot approach the house.

You know what Barack Hussein Obama thinks when he sees that photo?

Mmmmmmmmmm! Tasty!

You people feel too much empathy for dogs, be it Aridog or these ones. You're all enablers. That soldier was killed because it's his duty. Stop whining and grow up.

Spins - what the heck? Did you lose your heart, your soul? What the ever livin' heck?

If you don't like dogs, fine, but for some of us they are better than the people we know.

My little brown dog Yogi would gladly die trying to defend me - he has proven that more than once.

So don't start with the dog hate here. It's just wrong.

Chip Ahoy said...

Wow, that guy had 2 dogs.

I never had two dogs at once.

The trouble I went through with people just to have one dog at a time makes the effort not worth it.

If I had a dog right now, as many do in my building, It'd cost $50.00 per month (until they raise it) and there is no good place immediately for dogs to romp and poop a couple times a day. So, most dogs around here are tiny.

ndspinelli said...

It was a parody, dudes. I thought that would be clear.

ndspinelli said...

I love dogs. I have had many. I prefer them to most people.

Spinnerman - you need a /sarc tag on that mofo - it was not obvious, and you got me all riled up. So I apologize for not recognizing your humor. My humor usually falls flat due to a lack of funniness.

Feel free to say what you like about the grifter - poor sap's mommy won't even let him have a dog.

That could explain a lot, come to think of it.

I'm going to break one of my internet rules and say something about you-know-who. And I'm being sincere.

He has recently made it evident that he considers himself to be the kind of super-ordinate man who has license to tell another man what he should do with his life -- what sort of emotions he should feel, even -- and to dispense that unsolicited advice with condescension. It's cowardly internet one-upsmanship, pure and simple.

And that same guy lives with a highly intelligent, highly educated woman who is well-versed in mind games and who is keenly interested in the whole dominance/submission thing as if it were a sport. She's got a mean streak and she's proud of it.

She's got money, status, acclaim and obeisance from her students. She's not the least bit interested in sex, and in the early days of her blog she made that perfectly clear.

Just about all she needs from a man is a companion to keep her from being too lonely, without her sons, her true love who left her, and her youth.

Let me be clear. A guy who wants to go around condescending to other people and telling them what to do with their lives is now living with a woman who will have absolutely none of it. No way. No how.

And he knew all this going in, eyes wide open. He has knowingly chosen a life of frustrated servility.

Now, understand; I don't know why and I've got no moral standing to denounce. The heart has it's reasons and people are funny.

But it's sad.

And in a weird way . . . I pity him.

Like an abandoned dog.

The Dude said...

The fruit bat has gone batty.

Highly intelligent? Are you fucking kidding me? That bleached blonde bitch is too stupid to exist anywhere outside of the academy.

She is smart in the same way Obama is smart - she can talk without sounding like the retard she actually is.

Why do you think she doesn't have a real job? She's stupid.

But the real evidence of her massive retardation is that she married that pile of shit.

Case closed.

Eric the Fruit Bat said...

You're entitled to your opinion, Sixty, but I'll stick with mine.

I've read her serious work. I'm pretty sure you have not.

When you call her a "bleached blonde bitch" you give her all the reason she needs to smile, convinced she's won.

She failed at private practice for reasons I don't know, but I know she was lying when she explained that it was because it was all too easy for her and she hated having to pretend that it was difficult for her.

My firm suspicion is that she couldn't take the stress of the head games they play at that level. She's good but they are the best in the world. You don't have to believe me but I have personal experience.

Althouse landed on her feet. She's a one-percenter with complete job security and perks that can't be beat. Calling her undeserving makes you look jealous. She earned her way to the top of the academic heap over the course of many years. It was a fair fight, more or less. We all started in kindergarten.

Don't get me wrong. Go ahead and hate her all you want. What's it to me? I couldn't stop you if I tried.

But my problem with Althouse isn't her politics or her artistic pretensions (That said, I value her taste in movies, if not her music). It bothers me that she trolls her own blog and does that Socratic shtick, but not all that much.

My criticisms runs more along the lines of "AND YOU, A LAW PROFESSOR!!!"

She saw that coming from the very beginning . . . and she neutralized it, to her credit.

It just seems to me that, with all her talent, she could be doing so much more of value with her life, instead of amusing her sorry, saggy ass.

Meade said...

Wow, Eric (as if your name is really Eric), talk about condescension. You rule, dude.

That part reminded me of Crack's attitude as well. This why I've long suspected collusion between Meadehouse and Crack. They're working the same schtick.

The Dude said...

Getting a job due to being a woman is hardly "deserving". She is an affirmative action hire, nothing more, nothing less, in a no-show job.

She doesn't need a dog, she married one.

She has no talent, and once again, the douche she "married" proves that she is dumber than a fucking bag of hammers.

Go mow the lawn, Meade, if that is your name. We know that's your job, you Peter Principle livin' motherfucker.

And while we have your gnat-like attention, how is "Althouse's" book coming along? Got it all figured out? Plot lines drawn? Characters and motives figured out? Ready to publish?

She has a mushy alcohol damaged brain that matches her pasty white soggy ass.

ndspinelli said...

I know attorneys who had her as a prof. She is even more domineering and condescending in that venue. And, litigation is HARD WORK and stiff competition. She took the govt. employee route. She has the quality of intelligence and vapidity. That's why Eric and Sixty are both right. Turley has intelligence and is a man of substance and honor. TOP is a ham n' egger and amoral. She is now Gloria Swanson in Sunset Blvd.

Meade said...

Thanks for sharing, Sixty.
Good luck to you.
We'll all be praying for your recovery.

And I seethe when the secular progressives badmouth ndspinelli. I try and "forgive them for they know not what they have done." But, I usually end up telling them to go shit in their hat.

Not that they have hats. The hat industry completely crashed when JFK went to his inauguration not wearing a hat and suddenly hat wearing became unfashionable. I learned that on the internet (where I do undercover work like at turley's).

MamaM said...

Which came first, Inga being allowed to dominate the Althouse blog, with an unenforced good faith-bad faith comment policy in place, or Meade presenting himself as a man of honorable intent?

Which came first, washing graffiti off statues or tarnishing the reputations of good men fighting their own battles?

Which came first, Althouse attempting to engage commenters with guessing games and invitations to respond to her personal ponderings about just the right paint color or flooring covering for her home, or Althouse deciding commenters weren't an integral part of her blog?

Which came first, Althouse believing the high quality of her writing drew in the hits, or Althouse allowing trolls, liars, and manipulators like Crack and Inga to drive up her numbers?

What comes first, living with integrity or engaging in duplicity?

I've received much good from and through the Althouse Blog for which I continue to be thankful. Whatever is driving the bizarre game currently being played out here, where Meade comes over to Lem's to degrade himself and others, I wish it would stop. It needs to stop, as it's eroding what's left of Meade's and Althouse's integrity and reputation.

Thanks, Chip. Good advice for people in general. But which demons of mine are you thinking you clearly observe? "Demon" seems hyperbolic. Gadflies maybe, but those are hardly "demons".

No snark intended here either.

Maybe the jump the shark phenomenon applies not only to television shows, but to all manner of media whose format requires an audience be kept entertained. Those who venture out of their wheelhouse, not sticking to their knitting, trying to be too creative by half thereby losing verisimilitude, seem susceptible. And so maybe a year ago last summer the blog just jumped the shark.

Laurence, by "demons" I mean the forces that compel many of us to wage continual internet battles rather than simply walking away from them and the places where we know we will find them.

I have worked hard to accept the latter as a sign of sanity rather than capitulation, and recommend it.

That is all I have to say on the subject.
