Daily Beast: Has North Korea’s Kim Jong Un Been Toppled?

"Hwang’s trip [to] South [Korea] on Saturday comes on the heels of a widely publicized report that Kim has been deposed. Jang Jin Sung, a former North Korean counterintelligence and propaganda official, is claiming that the Organization and Guidance Department of the Korean Workers’ Party, responsible for promotions within the regime, has taken over the country. Kim, according to Jang, is now merely a “puppet.”

"Leading Korea watchers, however, say they doubt Kim has lost his position at the center of the state founded by his grandfather and passed down to his father, his immediate predecessor. “This kind of travel would be way too out there if anything serious was going on in North Korea, so I don’t think it’s a sign of a coup,” John Delury of Yonsei University in Seoul told The Washington Post of Hwang’s jaunt down to Incheon, near the South Korean capital. Andrei Lankov of nearby Kookmin University, meanwhile, called the surprise visit merely a part of Pyongyang’s recent “charm offensive.” “North Korean diplomacy has been engaged in concerted, well-arranged, well-managed efforts to improve relations with pretty much the entire outside world,” he told the Post. “And you would not expect it to happen with nobody in control.” (read more)

Then Simon Cowell pulls out a puppet of Steve Hewlett and delivers his critique to the real Steve Hewlett with puppet Steve Hewlett vexing him. The puppet Steve Hewlett has another smaller puppet on its hand of Simon Cowell, this puppet Cowell on puppet Steve Hewlett's hand on the real Cowel's hand being smaller than the puppet Simon Cowell on the real Steve Hewlett's hand still on stage accepting the criticism of the real Simon Cowell and the vexing of Hewlett's puppet self on real Simon Cowell's hand.

The officers are probably sick and tired of obsequiously scribbling into their pocket notebooks the sage utterances of their short fat funny haircut having tyrant savant.

"I got home and flipped though my notes and realized I just want to kill the filthy little pencil-dick bastard." So we did.

And now we must make it look like an accident. Like he ascended to heaven. That's right. Yeah. That's the ticket. He ascended to heaven. I saw it with my own eyes. Went right up. Woooop. Then he was gone. He was waving and smiling generously, I felt him connect in my heart, as he disappeared into the clouds.

There was a Barsotti cartoon with two panels.

In the first, the boss is behind his desk and the employee is sitting in the employee chair. The boss says, "I find it impossible to say no to you."

In the second panel, the boss has a hand puppet on and the hand puppet says, "No."

Why I find that humorous, I have no idea.
