Phew.

Fake. Rotoscoping, where an element is isolated, copied, and added at a different time.

The music brings it all together.

Is there an automated function for rotoscoping in Premiere or Final Cut Pro?

After 30,000 students arrive every late summer, that's real.

Actually, that looks a lot like day-to-day traffic in Beirut. Nobody stops for anyone, and the survivors have learned to tune their rhythms exactly to the expected reactions (or lack thereof) of the respective drivers, riders, and pedestrians you're likely to encounter on the streets.

It's only mildly terrifying to watch, and I never saw anyone hit, no matter how much I cringed in expectation.
