Politics: "In big races, debates few and far between"

"In many of these cases, incumbents are rejecting debates they, or their predecessors, had readily agreed to in the past. Voters who rely on debates to clarify their thinking, to connect with a candidate or to get an answer to the question candidates choose not to discuss on the campaign trail, will have to make their decisions without that input."

"The troubling trend of debate-skipping is not limited to one party, one region, or one type of officeholder. It is evident in both close-fought campaigns and blowouts alike."

"Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) has even refused to participate in a Minnesota Public Radio debate at the state fair, a tradition that stretches back 20 years.

No debate, even in friendly territory?

Why bother with debates when the leftwing royals have the cheat machine to carry them over the edge.
Who needs debate when honest vote counts are so yesterday.

The debates are not carried by major networks, either.
You might find one on a local station. maybe. The dems cannot face sunlight. The R's are often not prepared to go in for the kill, even when all the issues on there for the pickin'.

I'd ask the dems 1 question:
Do you think it's a good idea for legislation that changes 1/6th of the entire economy to pass, un-read, on party line vote, in the dead of night, using questionable political maneuvers?

That boy is absolutely right when he says "I'm real; you're not real." Felt that way my whole life.

I think no debates is a great idea. Debates are a farce when they are manipulated by the main stream media to protect their Democratic butt boys.

Can you say Candy Crowley?

If I were a twin, like one of those girls, I wouldn't appreciate being dressed identically with my twin. Just a thought.

Dressing twins alike has been discouraged for a long time.

Isn't it telling that it's the dems who are stepping away from a debate forum that favors them.
It's Candy Crowley all the way down, and they still don't want to debate.

OMG, they're so cute when they're not your own children at that age.

Al Franken isn't really from Minnesota, so why should he care about their "traditions"? That's what one more thing I love about American Jews. They cut through the crap and get to reality. Its all Al Davis, he knew all that "Sportsmanship" was BS, "Just win baby" was his motto.

And what's the point of debates in 2014? You got 90% of the Democrats who can't speak English and/or who'd vote for Joe Stalin if he had a (D) after his name. Meanwhile, you have a bunch of ignorant Independents who can't even tell you what the three branches of government are.
