Independent Journal Review: "Group At Center Of IRS Scandal Has Never Been Interviewed By FBI Investigators"

"No one from True The Vote, the highest profile organization targeted by the IRS in the scandal involving improper scrutiny of conservative-leaning non-profits, has been interviewed by the FBI or investigators from the Department of Justice, according to the group’s President, Catherine Engelbrecht."

"This stunning revelation comes just days after Attorney General Eric Holder rebuffed the suggestion that an independent investigation is needed into the growing scandal. Holder told ABC News this weekend that a special investigation was unnecessary because “career people” and FBI agents were “doing a good, professional job” investigating the matter."

To be fair, these career professionals ARE doing a phenomenal job from Holder's point of view. They're accomplishing exactly what the President and the Administration wants - unprecedented transparency, because anybody could see right through it.

It's clearly time to mention racism again.

Of course, no one in the government wants to investigate this. They have a pretty good idea of what they'll find. Ten minutes after they find it, some right-wing pundit will say on Fox News: "Hey, wait. Wasn't using the IRS to abuse political opponents item 3 on the articles of impeachment for Nixon? Why aren't we talking about impeaching Obama?"

At that point it won't be just the "right-wing crazies" like Sarah Palin who'll be weighing in. There will be microphones in every politician's face asking "So, do you support impeaching Obama? Yes or No."

No one in DC wants to go through that.

But Holders DOJ springs into immediate action to "investigate" that recent "disrespectful" parade outhouse symbol critical of Obama in Nebraska for "racist" tendencies..

Priorities..

HA!!! Good luck getting any of that info. Just like getting the identities of those that escaped the embassy during the Benghazi attack. Where are they? No one knows. But 4 people died saving them and not a peep.

Sorry to be so argumentative, but it would appear, seemingly, that it's time to mention racism several more times, whereas "again" could imply it will appear only once more with regard to Holder.

I'd like to go ahead and redact my last focus written out for you folks here tonight.

It wasn't up to my usual level of comments and you all deserve better.

No apologies; Better comments from my CPU will be forthcoming.

I can't get my outrage meter to move much on the NSA scandal. We bugged the German Chancellor's phone and collected lots of metadata, whatever that is. I'm not in high dudgeon. Not even minimal dudgeon.......But everything about the IRS bugs me. In the first case these were real flesh and blood people who were made to walk over coals. Then the President asserts that there's not even a smidgen of evidence to indicate any wrong doing. This after Lois Lerner takes the Fifth. Then the press blandly nods in agreement with this analysis......The IRS thing probably isn't Obama's worst screw up, but it's definitely the most aggravating.

I'm not hearing much of a defense of Obama these days from the usual apologists-- neither here nor there. I take their silence as a good thing. Perhaps they're trying to save face while Obama seeks a new facet of America to chip away at.
