Hey! I just figured something out!

When people use the initials "XL" like when naming a record label or a motor vehicle, it stands for "excel" which is like saying "we excel" or maybe the "XL" is a truncated form of "excellent" so they're saying their product is excellent.

No, wait. Maybe the "XL" stands for "extra large" because they want their record company to be really successful.

Or maybe it's a dumb marketing spelling, like "Krispy Kreme." Instead of spelling it "accelerate" you spell it "XLerate." That would make sense with a car, now that I think about it . . . Hmmmm.

Aw crap! Now I'm all confused again.
