"IRS agents’ testimony: NO progressive groups were targeted by IRS"

Only seven applications in the IRS backlog contained the word ‘progressive,’ all of which were then approved by the IRS, while Tea Party groups received unprecedented review and experienced years-long delays. While some liberal-oriented groups were singled out for scrutiny, evidence shows it was due to non-political reasons,” according to the Oversight staff report, which was obtained by The Daily Caller."

“[T]he Administration and congressional Democrats have seized upon the notion that the IRS’s targeting was not just limited to conservative applicants,” the report states. “These Democratic claims are flat-out wrong and have no basis in any thorough examination of the facts. Yet, the Administration’s chief defenders continue to make these assertions in a concerted effort to deflect and distract from the truth about the IRS’s targeting of tax-exempt applicants.”

“[T]here is simply no evidence that any liberal or progressive group received enhanced scrutiny because its application reflected the organization’s political views,” the report stated.

When are they going to throw Lerner's ass in jail? Me and Cagney agree that she'll sing like a canary.

I don't know that there's anything relevant to see here other than the fact that the neutral educational organization with the url barackobama.com is an approved tax exempt entity.

We received the blessings of Pajama Boy entirely tax free.

RIP pitiful lefty talking point which will rise again from the grave, as needed, regardless of the facts. Because truthiness and zombie collective speech.

Exactly, Amartel. Being a leftie means never having to say you're sorry. Their lies never die, are never retracted, and history teaches them no lessons.

This will be just like Harry Reid's lies about Romney's taxes and now the Koch's. You just tell it over and over and pretend nobody knows any better. Dummies across the country repeat it, and some of them have their own TV shows, newspapers, and congressional offices. Millions of them vote, sometimes twice.

The reason no left groups were targeted is just because the IRS has not had time to get to them. If Democrats could just get another 8 years in the executive, I'm sure they will balance that out. They want to play fair. That's what they are all about you know - equality and fairness, and transparency and other good stuff like that. Bless their virtuous hearts.

This administration has an unprecedented amount of scandal, but this IRS thing is the worst of it. Even though others involve people dying, and over the top unconstitutional and illegal behavior, they mostly are a result of incompetence or power grabbing, but this one is the most un-American, unconstitutional, egregious, and poisoning to the public trust. It's pure political ugliness of the kind this nation has long resisted better than any in history. None has done more to diminish American exceptionalism as this administration, but then again what do expect from someone who finds the very idea of it beyond his intellect.

The IRS scandal is the second most brazenly obvious effort to use the power of government to advance a political goal. BUT truthiness and zombie collective speech had already deigned the Tea Party raaacist so the herd doesn't care.
The most brazenly obvious effort to use the power of government to advance a political goal is Obamacare. Will the herd be lulled into complacency yet again?
I mean, it's all fine so long as only raaaacists are affected, right? But what happens when it gets personal - when it's YOUR healthcare, YOUR dwindling bank account, YOUR children's future?

OTOH, what about the anthropogenic climate zombie? Fucking thing has been dead for almost 50 years and it still walks (and gets tons of attention and money thrown at it). Just change the name and it's revivified. Cooling, warming, climate change, global winter is coming. Boo.
And how many different names for statism have there been through the years? Today it's "progressive" which means we've gone full cycle and are starting over again because everyone who remembers the original progressives is dead so it's safe to bring it on back. I'm appalled reading about the new "collective speech" rights theory that's been introduced as a counter to actual free speech rights. I guess "positive rights" is being put back on the shelf for now, at least during lame duck times. It can always be brought back after Hillary wins. No wonder the "chattering classes" are mainly lefties. It's all in the name. And the new name. And the theory of new name. And the next new name after that. It's who they are it's what they do.

Obamacare at least was passed by mostly legal means and is supported by over a hundred million citizen dummies, but the targeting by the IRS, I suspect, would only be supported by a few tens of million Democrats.

The NSA did they research and the IRS acted on it.

Blackmail, intimidation, vote fraud.

The Democrat Party needs a RICO investigation.
