WLEM AM

Where everything's coming up roses and daffodils.

Question:

Does this work?

It's a nice tune, and she's cute.

Note to people shooting pictures or videos... Don't set up with bright windows as your background. Try shooting in the opposite direction.

Breathy voice work does nothing for me. She is cute though.

Shout, would that be a good song for your girl band?

Ain't bad. At least it's not one of those Go Grrl! revenge tunes that are so popular, even in country.

The young woman in my kid band loves those revenge tunes. She also referred to the lyrics of I Saw Her Standing There as "rapey."

The best use of that song would be to never hear it or its pathetic singer again.

Evah!

That shit is starting to make Hick Hop look good, and that's bad!

And you are in such a band because?

Sixty, I bet a thousand bucks you sobbed uncontrollably for 20 minutes, you big sack of goo.

Money.

Also, I like the kids. They've got a lot of energy.

Even the young woman. She's been flirting with me. Since she's into the "rape culture" thing, it might be a mistake to take her up on it.

The woman has a great, huge voice and could be a dynamite cabaret torch singer, if she'd dump all that garbage out of her brain.

Hang tough, Sixty.

Oddly, the young woman also loves this tune.

I introduced her to it.

She wants out of the prison of feminist stupidity, but she doesn't know how to get out.

Unfortunately, I might only be effective here if I seduce her. Pretty risky proposition.

Cute girl. Sickeningly sweet song and not strong breathy vocals. She has difficulty hitting the notes.

I LOVE Drop Kick Murphys !!

No good will come of this. I guarantee it. (in the voice of the Men's Warehouse guy)
;-)

For the palette cleanser I owe my kinsman. I'd never heard them before.

DBQ, you'll like this, I guarantee it.

deborah said...

Great song, DBQ, I love it!!!!

@ Deborah

LOL. I loved it. The guarantee worked!

That was a good one, deborah. I feel that in most circumstances many would agree.

@deborah

Well, yes, I agree with you.

With that song, I've hatched a couple plots.

We've not yet spread my dad's ashes where he requested, and it will require a road trip. I'm thinking I'll work that song in somewhere.

Chick, I have to see those movies, you so highly recommend them.

deborah, that is hilarious.
