The Lemmy doc was quite good, although I haven't seen the extended version yet. But quite good. I particularly like the bit when he explains the difference between how he pays bass guitar and how everyone else plays base guitar. It isn't strictly fair, but it does illustrate the difference.
Ozzy is drug addled. Black Sabbath was the original heavy metal band. Now Motorhead was probably the first band that could be thought of as strictly "metal", dropping that heavy turgid style of the mid-60s British heavy blues bands.
But Lemmy and Motorhead are definitely the inspiration for thrash bands and speed metal. Which is funny, because Lemmy thinks of himself being much more of a punk rocker, and starts shows with this introduction:
"We are Motorhead, and we play rock 'n' roll."
And after listening to them for about thirty years now, I tend to agree with the introduction: They are a rock 'n' roll band, and that ain't too bad!

Just checked, no Motorhead in there.
I just realized I have teriyaki chicken soaking and it cannot marinade forever.
Once I learned that the hard way. With tenderloin strips. They turned to mush overnight but everyone thought it was outstanding because they didn't know good the meat started.
I've got lots of Motorhead on my iTunes. Wish I had more. It's heavy in my personal rotation too. I'm particularly fond of the album Sacrifice ("Out of the Sun" is probably my favorite Motorhead song), and their cover of "Louie, Louie" which was the first version I ever heard of that song in which the lyrics could actually be heard.

I suppose it's of little use to try to scare people into not using but then again there is very little else one CAN do.
If enough people rise up against it, maybe the idea of the previous thread has a better chance of working against the abuse of drugs.
