Lame. I was expecting a Monet.

...or at least a Jackson Pollock.

I wonder if they used acrylic paint? I doesn't look like oil.

The explosive forces were too little to overcome the intermolecular paint forces. Thus all the looping globs.

April, it couldn't have been a Pollack. The guys seemed far to happy and sober.

Solving the ignition problem was required to produce fat man, the first globular atomic bomb. You have to synchronize the exploding of shaped charges to get a spherical shell with u238 dotted around it to collapse, with all the fissile material cohering and going critical right at the center. They were calculating travel-times of electricity over distances of a foot or so, high-brissance blast waves over about 2 feet. These guys, moving a torch down a line. But, they were moving it with alacrity.

Incidentally, the way it is done if you have regard for your 15000 fps camera is to shield it and focus it on a mirror.

Lame.

Made me laugh.

Some of the individual explosions were cool.

The optics could have been better. Will have to look at some of their other slo-mos.

(Could not believe they didn't have a cover for the camera.)

But then again -- what is it about guys and blowing things up?

15k FPS? Bah, try a trillion frames per second when you can see a wave of light wash over a scene, then get back to me.

That's just weird.

Observation: Look, they sink like quicksand
Observation: Look, some go straight up and others explode outward. (The two in front go straight up)
Observation: Look at the ceiling
Observaton: Look at my back.

Inquiry: you guys aren't too smart, are you?

Google "universe structure filaments" for some interesting similarities.

That's just gay. Oh hey, Deb, listen to the death metal yet? If you have and you like it, try another band called Nile. Youtube them.
