"Brian is returning to “Family Guy”"

"Great news for “Family Guy” fans: After being dead for almost two weeks, Brian Griffin is coming back to life on Dec. 15, still voiced by creator Seth MacFarlane."
"The intellectual anthropomorphic dog and martini lover, one of the main characters in the long-running Fox comedy, was run over by a car and buried in a funeral service on Nov. 24′s episode, “Life of Brian.” At the time, executive producer Steve Callaghan was nonchalant about the death, telling E Online that “we thought it could be a fun way to shake things up.”

I predicted they would bring Brian back...

Am I the only person who doesn't like this show? I've tried to watch it. I know it's popular. I just don't get it?

@AA,

No, you're not the only person who hates the show. I find it awfully mean-spirited, and I have a high tolerance for mean.

What's interesting is that many other animators seem to hate the show, mostly for its poor animation, but also for its repetitive content. When the "South Park" team went after "Family Guy" in an episode, Trey Parker said he was amazed by all the "attaboys" they received from other animators in private.

South Park is the worst cartoon i've never seen. I gave it a shot back when everybody seemed to be talking about it.. Clinton was prez. I hated it. I watched one episode and i cant recall what it was about.

I only watch cartoons. It's the only realistic medium. A lot of Wylie Coyote's vision has come true. I was an early adopter of that shit.

I refused to watch South Park for years, then eventually fell for it, and it often has me laughing out loud, but you have to be at a certain level of sophistication to get it.

I mean, where else will you find suburban men microwaving their balls so they can get cancer so that they can get a prescription for medical marijuana only to have their balls swell too big to fit through the doors of the pot store.

That's comedy that will be studied for centuries, and you were there when it happened.

Bagoh - I'd laugh at that. That's funny.
I've never watched a single episode of South Park to the end. I've seen bits in my peripheral vision, and the annoyance made me
tune out. Problem being the cartoon voices don't compute in my range and I'm not at all familiar with the characters.

I couldn't watch Family Guy for a long time. I'm not big on cartoon's, but the Simpson's was good. Family Guy seemed as successful, but like others, I thought it was a bit hateful.

Then I had a couple of business trips with crappy hotels with just nothing else interesting on television. So I left it on. It is Stewie and Brian that make the show. The rest is just a wrapper to me. I don't watch it regularly, but I do when I'm on travel.

Blondie started out as a flapper during the twenties. She got married and settled down. Very few married couples are as settled as her and Dagwood. They'll be coming up n their hundredth anniversary soon..... Gasoline Alley had this thing where they let the characters age. I don't follow the cartoon. Have any of the characters died off or been put in retirement homes?........On tv, The Simpsons remain the champs. I've read that on the Internet, there are more obscene cartoons of the Simpsons than any other cartoon characters. That's how you can tell your viewers are bonding with your characters. They want to see more of them.

Wow - those are some large bouncing balls.

I think its pretty crappy. The Simpsons (First 10 years), South Park, and even KOTH (first 6 years) were better.

The writing is rather mediocre. The voices annoying.

Man, if I had a nickle for every time I've heard that.
