I think he went from "f" to "c" The dad seems more like a grandpa to me.
I had the same "this can't be right, my prof is going to realize he made a mistake and fix this" reaction to my Mineralogy midterm. I didn't really trust the posted grade until it had been there all day.(Now, if I could just pass Maths!)
