Very good book too.

It is almost disturbing how many A-list British actors and actresses were in that show.

On one of the early episodes of The Big Bang Theory, Sheldon was interviewing Leonard to see if he qualified to be his roommate.

Q: Which was better, Star Trek or Star Trek: The Next Generation?

A: Uh, . . . uh, . . . The original series was the better show but, . . . uh, . . ., Picard was the better captain.

Sheldon expressed his surprise and admiration that Leonard gave the correct answer to a trick question, IIRC.

Funny stuff.

Patrick Stewart is great but his Scrooge was a disappointment.

Oh, well.

My bad.

Victim of my own unrealistic expectations.

You can't go home again.

He played a great sitcom guest on Frasier. He was a famous gay opera critic(?) actor(?) who misunderstood that Frasier was not his new love interest.

I loves me some Kelsey Grammer but his Scrooge was a disappointment, as well.

Coincidence?

I think not.

Eric, you've never gotten over the quintessential Scrooge, Mr. McGoo.

The quintessential Scrooge would have been played by Lionel Barrymore in 1938 but for a hip injury which plagued him the rest of his life. Instead he brought the curmudgeon to life in a wheelchair as Mr. Potter in "It's A Wonderful Life."
