A Guy on the Street Corner Said This and You Overheard (Two)

“On Sunday morning I went out for a while in the neighbourhood; I bought some
raisin bread. The day was warm but a little sad, as Sundays often are in Paris,
especially when one doesn't believe in God.”

How Has This Sunday Morning Treated You?

Do You Like Raisin Bread?

Raisin Bran?

Raison d'être ?

Not that my Sunday morning was like that, not at all. The verse just reminded me of that song.

I had a delightful Sunday morning. Went to the hospital to make rounds and found that everyone was feeling better this morning than they did yesterday. You don't know how that makes a doctor feel, to hear the treatment is working. Then met up with my family at mass where the priest actually gave a very good homily. And now I am here, conversing with my virtual friends.

It has been a nice Sunday morning, and coincidentally, I had two slices of buttered raisin toast earlier.

It's been a very nice Sunday morning. I served as the communion assistant at church and that's always pretty special. Husband's getting ready to put ribs on the grill. Taking the kids out and about later. Have a bunch of stuff on my to-do list and a busy week coming up, so tonight will be a late night, but I'm going to enjoy today until I have to get on task later.

No raisin toast because I'm finally going low carb.

I recommend Chip unveil his cut white repressed republican hog that doesn't get any or Freeman whipping out her constantly pregnanted red neck Arkansas tits if this place is going to get any traction.

Lovely Sunday here; not too hot or humid. I forego raisin bread because of the carbs, but really like it especially in French Toast.

The refrigerator is not working, neither is the dryer. I took the clean but still wet laundry to a laundromat to be dried. So, me and some homeless people hanging out at the laundromat. Now I'm thinking I need to find more useful online courses than fundamentals of materials.

Who the heck is sad on Sunday mornings? It's Sunday afternoons that are the problem.

Pain aux raisins is no. 3.

Sunday morning, clear, bright sunny.

Went to Mass at a nearby church, not my regular church downtown. No kneelers? How can it be a proper Mass without kneelers? And holding hands or playing crack-the-whip while speaking the Lord's Prayer? Are we all Protestant now?

Anyhow, I gave thanks and quelled my inner temper. Back to Latin Mass next week.

I avoid raisin toast and raisin cookies. Thinking I'm getting chocolate chips but getting raisins is the reason I still have trust issues.

A beautiful day otherwise, happily spent above the sod.
