Tea Party does not like Lindsey Graham anymore

Per a mailing I saw. I keep hearing they're not a party. And yet.

Because he did it again.

By cutting back room deal with Harry Reid to allow Obama's extremist appointments to go through. They say but they do not specify which appointments they object to, maybe it's the thought of cooperation that galls.

They say they cannot proceed with primary challenge until they know they have enough cash to meet his huge campaign war chest. (in the form of accounts!)

Lindsey says:

The problem with the Tea Party, I think it's just unsustainable because they can never come up with a coherent vision for governing the country. It will die out.

They seek a coherent vision for turning him out before they die.

Sounds like projection to me.

The only idea for governing Senator Grahamnesty has is do the the Demos tell him.

He is, after all, one of Chuckie's kids.

Graham is such a phony.

What is so hard about the Tea Party vision? "Spend less money."

Oh, right, I guess that is a tough thing to understand in DC. It would be like telling bears: "slow down on the Salmon, you're too fat."

Tea party- citizens who are tired of the corruption.

Any deal with Harry Reid by definition is corrupt because he is a corrupt man. Nothing Harry Reid does is above board.

Oh man, this is assume. I mean awesome.

I keep getting the idea to put Lois Lerner's head on pike. And Carter Hull's head too. And put those pikes where the hearings are held. Once place said a building that started with an O but I forget, next to the Rayburn building in the shape of an odd quadrilateral. Google Earth is amazing. You can type that and go straight there. Issa is in the Rayburn building, but the hearings, I'm not so sure, anyway the odd building next door, the Rayburn building would do. Just go straight there. bang Right in front of the building. Two statues. Internet says that's Spirit of Justice and Majesty of the Law. Whatever. Justice demands heads. So I'd like to put them right there. And add heads as the hearings go along. The awesome part is I can move around and change what the background would be. It's not a 100% move around choice but that I can shift it at all is amazing. Shift the statues around. I can put the pikes with head in the bushes. Crows and such. Then screen grab, and there's my background. As if I went there and took pictures myself.

Senator Squishy strikes again. Straddling the fence on all three of his legs. John McCain was there to ask him if he needed his ball sweat dabbed up.

The Lindsey Graham of today is a hallow shell, like that stick on Freeman's post, of the Lindsey Graham of the Impeachment of Clinton days.

“This brings us to the crux moment in the supposed 'Show Trial' melodrama. Employing the confusing and confused testimony of Jude Wanniski (who he also describes as a political nut-case, if not a nut-case flat-out, and to whom he introduced me in the first place) Blumenthal suggests that I concerted my testimony in advance with the House Republicans, notably James Rogan and Lindsey Graham. Feebly bridging the gap between sheer conjecture and outright conspiracy, Rogan is quoted as saying: 'Hitchens may well have called Lindsey..' I did not in fact do any such thing. Why should my denial be believed? It's not as if I care. I probably should have colluded with them, if my intention was to land a blow on Clinton (which it was) let alone to plant a Judas kiss on Blumenthal (which it was not). But every other fragment of Blumenthal's evidence and description shows—even boasts—that Congressman Graham was essentially punching air until the last day of the trial. That could not possibly have been true, especially in his cross-examination of Blumenthal, if he knew he had an ace in his vest-pocket all along. Only a tendency to paranoia or to all-explaining theories could suggest the contrary. I'd even be able to claim for myself, I hope, that if I'd truly wanted to gouge a deep or vengeful wound I could or would have made a better job of it.”

I joined the TEA Party as soon as the insults that they were a racist organization began. I can't ever remember supporting Graham. He's part of the problem. Don't get me started on McCain, either.

they can't understand anything in Washington unless it is over 1000 pages and only the interns have read it.

Well, okay, they don't understand THAT either, but they'll fake it in that case.

You know... I don't know if people would really object to some back room dealing or horse trading if what the Republican got for it was actually worth getting.

My impression is that it's trading away what conservatives think is important for *nothing* that really chaps people's behinds.

Part of what you're supposed to get for one of those trades is public butt cover... the one side gets what they want in exchange for the other side, at the very least, getting a political win.

After the "deal" the side that "wins" is supposed to go around in public saying "We gave up this thing that we really really didn't want to give up, because this other thing is so important."

So... it would be like... "We gave in to secure-the-border-first even though we don't like it because the path-to-citizenship is so very very important."

Not a single person in DC seems to have the least notion that what you need to win is giving the other side public cover.

Republicans seem intent on giving everything up for no cover at all.

Forget Paul and Ryan. They're too doofy. You need a down-to-earth, feminine yet no-nonsense woman of a certain age. Get cracking.

An amnesty plan can actually be viewed as pardoning the longtime Congress critters [i.e. McCain and many others] for not doing their job of securing the border since 1986.

(1) National politics is fine but I could yammer on and on until I'm blue in the face and still I'd have absolutely no effect whatsoever on the decisions made by my local Board of Supervisors.

(2) I watch baseball (soccer sometimes) but only occasionally do I keep watching to see the very end of the game.

It usually doesn't matter to me who wins.

One thing's for certain: It won't be me, or anyone I know, or anyone who even knows I exist.

(3) Don't get me started.

Has anyone told Titus that Bruce Carroll, one of the founders of GOProud, is/was exploring the idea of jumping into the SC primary?
